R56 mystery line. Please help!
You have it all wrong. That is the fuel line, but the other end of it you have connected to the brake booster vacuum line.
I see a newer fuel line laying there, you can tell it has the same quick connect fittings on it. The 90 deg one connects to the high pressure fuel pump, then the other end connects to the fuel line coming from the fuel tank near the firewall.
