Anyone from Louisiana?

Hey I was wondering if anyone else on here was from louisiana. Baton Rouge, Hammond, New orleans area and purchased your car from Brian Harris Mini. If so I was wondering how long it took ya to get your mini and how there service is. Mine is coming in this weekend and so far so good. Just wondering if the service is as good after the sale. Thanks for the info.

I don’t live in the general area, but Brian Harris is the closest dealer to me. I used them once for my 10K service and found them to be excellent.

I showed up with a little list of things for them to do or look at other than the service itself and I was in and out in just a couple hours. I’ll be going there again after the holidays for my next service.

Wildone,

I'm from the Lafayette area and plan to order my MINI in a month or two. Selling my current car and then ordering the MINI. Let me know how your delivery goes. Good luck!

I am from Baton Rouge, and used Brian Harris. The experience was great. Eric Sisco was wonderful. I ordered mine in Sept., but it didn't go into production until Oct. 1 (I wanted the CVT Convertible). I picked it up on Nov. 6th. We have had it about 6 weeks and have about 2600 miles on it. The car is incredible, and this is the first week I have not been able to put the top down fully (sun roof is still ok, as long as the sun is out).

I highly recommend Eric, and Brian Harris. From the info that I have, they have the best MINI technician in the country. There was a competition, and this guy won. The other 2 that work there, came in the top 10.

I don't expect to have any problems for as long as I own this car, which should be awhile...my 6 year old wants it when he gets his license.

Good luck, and enjoy...

That's awsome. I'm from Hammond and ordered mine from Lance Faucheaux. Eric was going to sell me my Mini but 2 co-workers who purchased one from Lance, Recommended him to me. They were both very helpful and let me go in at least 4 times and test drive a mini to get rid of my mini bug. I talked to Lance earlier today and he said My mini should arrive there tonight after 5 pm. So it should be there by now, but I'm picking her up on Monday. He even threw in some floor mats for me. They were so awsome there. Kinda tempting with a lot full of $50,000+ bmers. and a porschse and Audi dealership next door too. I would also highly recommend Lance Or Eric if anyone else in the batonrouge/neworleans and surrounding area's are considering purchasing a Mini. They were great. That also makes me feel really well about there service dept. I will never worry now about who's working on my baby. Thanks for the info...

FYI> ordered a 05 Jet Black/Black roof/mirrors Cooper S w/ h/k the new guage cluster in the middle / rain sensing wipers / premium package and the cooper s light up door sills. I'll post pics as soon as I get them... Happy motoring!!!!!!

I do not understand this statement “MINI bug”. What do you mean by this? This is a high performance sports car in a small body – what’s to get rid of.

I drive 600 miles to get serviced at Brian Harris and I think they are the best. I could go to Atlanta or Jacksonville, but Baton Rouge is the best I've found.

[font=Times New Roman][size=3]And my dealer threw floor mats in for me, but check the bill because they charged me for them with a smile and thank you. Ya right like I realy wanted to finance floor mat for 5 years.

I told them I would pay for them on the spot, but they said no and threw them in… in to the bill that is. Now I’m paying interest on $40 floor mats for 5 years.

Why didn't you go after them? How did you not notice them in the price?

Mini bug as in having a very strong craving to drive a Mini. Not talking about a vw beetle. LOL. Sucks about the floor mats. I'm going to make sure to check my bill.
