Coding the Battery

I've just heard about this.

I got a new battery a year and a half ago, which is starting to get sluggish. Nothing wrong with my alternator, I had it checked. I never coded the battery to my car, what does this entail and why do they do it?

Its just reset the battery so over the life of the battery the alternator will change its charging pattern to accommodate as the battery ages. I never heard of it killing a battery early, just prolongs its life. Get the warranted if bad and then rest it.

Schwaben tool will reset it.
