Question Resale Value of International Orange JCW

I have been looking for a JCW and there are currently 5 2019 Orange JCW for sale on Auto Trader. Are there colors that sell better than others. My R56 was grey. The list prices for 2019's are $26-38K any thoughts on pricing? I searched but didn't see any current post.
Thanks

I was searching for an F56 for someone for the last year or so and I can say that Valcanic Orange seemed to be the worse for resale as far as color. International Orange I didn't see a lot of and personally like it. But I guess it is really up to the buyer.
I did see many grey and red ones for sale, what seemed to be the most popular out there.

On the VW forums there is a guy that put up some nice charts showing sales by color. Not sure where he got the data but maybe the same is available for MINI. That would be what you need.

Resale Values appear to be dropping

Thanks for the insight , I am amazed at the depreciation , but maybe because the car needs a refresh (engine power etc) I think a detuned JCW GP motor would attract more buyers. Just my 2cents.

Keep in mind that the International Orange Edition is, like many other "special edition" MINI's, just a compilation of certain options that MINI put together. That is, anyone could (still today) spec a car that looks exactly like the IOE. MINI didn't include anything that was truly unique to the IOE.

$27k for a 1 year old JCW doesn't sound too bad. Are they still around $40k new like mine was in 2014? I think the new 300HP Clubman is up to around $50k.
The Volcanic Orange color is basically yellow as I recall.

The MSRP for one with 8.8 Navigation , CarPlay , HK can be $40-42.5K plus the $850 destination fee. Mini dealer are asking a premium, followed by OEM dealers with used lots. I need to find out the wholesale /Manheim pricing and that will tell me the floor. I keep checking the FS on the forum to see if a 2019 is for sale.
