Sony XAV-AX8000

Has anyone seen this radio put in a mini yet? Will it even fit? It has android auto and a huge screen which are my prerequisites to shopping for a new radio for this car.

I’m considering this unit too! When you enter your vehicle’s information on Crutchfield.com, the results say it will “NOT” fit. But I don’t see why it wouldn’t. It should have enough clearance (and adjustments) to clear the part just under the center speedometer. I might give it a shot.

Did you ever give it a try? I like the Sony and the Jensen CMM710 (which Crutchfield says fits) better than a double DIN mod. I’d love to hear your thoughts if you ended up trying the Sony.

I’d really like a pop-out screen, but I’ve not seen one that works with the speedo cluster.
