1/8 or 1/4 Mile Reports
New to forum - Just bought a 2020 Mini Clubman JCW - we are a family of avid drag racers -(Jeep Trackhawk 707 HP and- Older Mustang built for track)
Like to see times posted of others who run the strip - Post 60 ft Trap speed and ET along with time slip -also any mods done to car-
I will run our car stock in the spring and then be doing mods as they become available - My guess is the car is capable of low 13 or maybe even high 12 with a good 60 ft

Front wheel drive and good 60ft. times...don't go together.
Not without a wheelie bar, or better termed...5th wheel. Needs to have a load put on it to keep the load on the front tires.
Sounds like fun in any case.
I'm a long time drag racer too. I owned a 1950 Super Gas Anglia for many years. Now building a 54 Studebaker. But I'm having a hard time getting used to the hydraulic clutch. I'm a sorta new owner also, don't have that many miles on my 05 JCW yet. But the hydraulic clutch and the cable controlled shifter (not that solid, like having solid steel shift rods) don't give me a good feeling of drag racing my little car.
Have fun.

JCW -
Ah...all four tires pulling, sounds good.
The traction control in the older cars like my 05 really suck the usable power. Seems even if the tires don't even have a hint of spinning, the brake are on to make sure. The car is a LOT more fun to drive with it...off.
Have fun, let us know what happens.
