How to remove painted fuel/gas door cover?

Anyone know how the painted fuel door cover is attached to the door itself? Was wondering if I can just pull on the painted door itself if I want to replace it....or is there a proper way of removing otherwise?

THanks

for anyone looking to do this, there is a hole when you open the fuel door. In that hole there is a tab you depress w/ a flathead and slide the painted cover away from the body of the car (to the right if you were looking at the fuel door closed).
