R50/53 Cracked head?
Cracked head?
Check engine light came on a mile from home, made it back to the driveway. Rough idle, much reduced power, beating noise that becomes louder when rubber grommet to spark plug is pushed down. Wires and plugs pretty new, about 5,000 miles ago.
167,200 miles on car. Any ideas on what went wrong? Cracked head maybe??

short video of it.

maybe a plug stripped out from the head? Did you pull the wires and plugs and look at them? Did you run a compression test? What is the code for the check engine light?
Your video does not work, no pictures provided, and with very limited information that you have given, it's going to be very hard to tell you what's wrong with the car

OK, we will try this again....did you pull the plugs and wires and look at them? Are there plug threads in the cylinder head for #3 cylinder? What is the check engine light code? (I bet it's P0303...)......Why do you think it's a cracked head?
You ask for help, but won't provide any info...and when you are given items to check, you won't give an answer except a video...which is not a diagnostic tool in my book. If you are mechanically challenged, you might have to seek out a repair shop.
Trying to fix or diagnose an engine issue over the web and without proper info is just asking for trouble
