So here we are. Took the first ball joint [outer] out when doing the axles. It was loose. Not flopping around loose, but sure not tight.

So I began thinking about struts.
I was looking at these;

MINI Koni Special Active Damper, Mini Cooper, Cooper S '02-'06 But on Pelican it says 3 weeks to ship.

Anyone else bought these and is it really 3 weeks shipping?

I ended up going with the Bilsteins. A slightly less expensive option. Actually about half the cost. It is after all a "Bargain" Mini and I'm not going to be racing, just tooling around my local country roads. I'm now nudging $3500 or so in parts to where it's no longer a "Bargain", but it will be pretty "squared away".
