This is probably a really stupid question, but...I have to ask it. The JCW team does pretty good in TCA competing against Miata's, Civic SI, etc, etc. Why doesn't Mini have a Clubman with the new engine (300+HP) competing in TCR? With stock 300 HP, surely it can be tuned to be competive, couldn't it? It looks like weight might be an issue, but I'm sure that can be pared down, yeah?
