PCA (Porsche Club AutoX) this weekend

So many Porsches … 32 cars total … 25 Porsches

Porsche 914 XP 43.218 PAX 38.247
Porsche Boxster STR 43.903 PAX 36.307
Pontiac Solstice GTX ASP 44.903 PAX 38.190
Porsche 2.7 Carrera BSP 44.911 PAX 38.219
Mini JCW STU 45.228 PAX 37.448
(New Tires 225/45/17 RE71s...getting them ready for this upcoming weekend)

Still need to Lower Suspension about another .5" and Re-Align before this Saturday. I ordered a Braille 21 (21 pound) battery for some weight savings.

Little by Little...getting where I want to get. Probably going to research some ECU Tunes and maybe upgrade to Bilsteins Strut/Shocks w/ 10-way adjust *****.

I've heard mixed things on the Bilstein adjusters, not a ton of love for them, the damping though is pretty well regarded. We've got KW on ours and while I'm not in love with the dampers the adjusters do have some range for playing with spring rates at least. Upside to the Bilstein is options for revalving that aren't available for the KW. If I were to take another shot at it I'd try BCs, can be revalved like Bilstein and in my experience a useful adjuster (if overly granular, 32 clicks might as well be 16). I didn't realize you were still on stock suspension, that plus the tune should be a big boost to finding the next second or two.

I'm actually on Bilstein B14-16PSS Coilovers w/o damper adjustment. They are basically set to #1 of the adjustable damper settings.. I actually wish I could find some springs with a bit higher stiffness rating. I will most likely stick with these until next year and just adjust the spring perches another .5 to .75 lower, new lighter battery when it arrives, lose some more weight myself and keep looking for a ECU Tune that is safe for the B48 of a Mini. I wish an Intercooler upgrade was legal in my class...STU...but it is not as of right now.

B14 are non adjustable, B16 is the 10 click single adjustable, I can't remember if the club sports are double adjustable for this platform or not...

You should be able to mount a 60mm diameter linear rate spring onto the B14s no problem, Eibach and Hyperco are about $65/spring+shipping and highly regarded for quality. An adapter for the OE front top hat will be nice but probably better off just putting a camber plate on if you haven't already. iirc we have used an Eibach 170-60-0080 both on the front and rear of our KW, since you'll probably want to start softer I think that length is probably a good fit. I don't have a pic of a front but a pic of the rear should be below:

We've had good luck with a dinan module so far but are considering other options for next year (we've been on both Dinans offerings). I think any name brand piggy back that's been extensively covered here is safe, such a stupid ruling that ST doesn't allow piggybacks for '06+ cars, it'd be a really stupid reason to throw you out since they don't make as much power as a real tune.
