Supercharger Air Duct

I have an '06 S Cabrio and need to replace the Supercharger Air Duct (PN 17511524439). Has anyone out there done this? Where is this thing located? What has to be removed to get to it? Thanks for the help.

Put the front end in service mode and it's pretty easy to get off.

Make sure you also replace the green seal on the supercharger at the same time.

take the front bumper cover off, remove the aluminum bumper brace, remove the AC condenser from the radiator and swing it down out of the way, no need to discharge the refrigerant from the AC system, drain the coolant and remove the hoses from radiator and then remove radiator from the core support....then remove the complete core support....

Your tube should be visible now to replace....be careful when taking the two plastic vacuum lines out of the air tube...they break easily....I would recommend getting a Bentley service manual for the car if you plan on doing any mechanical work on it.....

Seems like a lot of work to replace this thing. Perhaps I’ll just put up with the EML. It only comes on when it gets below 70 degrees. And this isn’t my daily driver. Doesn’t seem to effect performance at all.
