What happen to the aux How-To?
On Gabe site there used to be a link to a How-to, which depicted the aux-input installed on the euro parcel shelf... does anybody have a copy of that tutorial "AUX Input Installed into Euro Parcel Shelf (personal)" I wanted to go over it cause it is basically what I want to do, excpet I might pay someone at car-audi place to do it for me..
very easy to do it yourself.....installed the Aux Input without pulling out the radio, just by feel was able to plug it in and the HU knows it is there.
the Euro parcel shelf is easy too...I drilled the aux input jack in to the back of the shelf....the little plate that says "aux input" doesn't fit tho as the threads don't portrude enough to put the locking nut on unless you don't bother with that plate, but since it is way in the back and out of sight, no one can see it isn't there....so my walkman cassette and my future ipod can sit on the shelf...I have it connected with a retractible mini-to-mini plug for easy access

I just have no power tools.. and no garage... I've installed r4adios adn speakers in the past, it's just things like drilling and cold weather that are really keeping me from experimnenting, I need to be abel to do this in one sitting so I was hopign to find the instructions.. plus I forgot hsow the parcel shefl went on.. I seem to rember it was slightly differetn then taking off teh bolseter...
Gabe's site needs to be updated to reflect the new URL as well as the different furum software, both of which have changed since I did this.
