Roll Protection

What does the roll "bar" on the newer Mini's look like when it deploys? Has anyone seen it? Circled in this picture is where it comes out of behind the rear seat when the car detects an imminent roll-over, just never seen it out after an accident.

Yes, in the F57 the roll bar is hidden and only pops up when a roll is detected.

Deployed roll bars

Unfortunately I can show you exactly what it looks like. My 2016 Mini Cooper S was totaled in an accident on May 10, 2020. I was slowing to turn into my mom's driveway when I was rear ended by a vehicle traveling at an estimated 65 mph. The Mini didn't roll but the roll bars did deploy. I had some nasty bumps and bruises that required about 3 weeks to heal but the Mini protected me. I have a slightly used (1753 miles) 2020 JCW convertible arriving at my house tomorrow!!!! I can't wait.

Replacement JCW Convertible arriving tomorrow!!!

Can I just say, it looks like your MINI destroyed the car that hit you! Love these little bulldogs!! Glad you're safe and congrats on the new car!
