Aftermarket Headunit in R56 with HiFi audio?

Im looking to add an aftermarket Kenwood double DIN Android Auto capable head unit into my 2007 R56.

Easy peasy i assumed... I have the head unit already and have the Metra fascia, ISO to Quadlock harness and Fakra to ISO aerial adaptor on their way to me, so i thought id be covered for everything.

Now this is where i discover that my car has the 10 Speaker HiFi upgrade so has an amplifier to be concerned with, which is where i find myself at the moment... I see the HK system needs the HKEnabler, but does the HiFi system need something similar, or can it be run as is? Failing that can i bypass the amplifier and directly drive the speakers?

Thanks in advance.

New head unit wont do anything if you have the HK upgrade. The fequency response is dictated by the amp so you need to replace the amp to see any noticable hifi difference.
