I have a mini cooper s R52 2004 convertible I'm looking to replace the fuel cap for a chrome one
Does anyone know how to do this? And has anyone done this to a convertible R52??

Under the door? What's the point? If there is one, it would be available thru one of the vendors listed. Did you check any of them?

 

I have an R52 convertible I want to replace the petrol cap and housing to a chrome one I just want to know if anyone has done this?

I've noticed that the standard kit is only listed as being compatible with R53, not R52. I don't know why, though.

Good question! MINI never made a chrome cap to fit the convertible based on the fact that the convertible mechanism changes the space and side panel of the car, thus this available chrome cap will not fit.

There is also a "How to" here, but its for the regular cooper, not the 'vert.
