Hi folks,

Well, the hurricane knocked a limb down into my R52, snapping the antenna off. Broke the housing as well.

Was maybe thinking of replacing with a shark fin.

Anyone who has either replaced their stock antennae housing, or switched it out for a shark fin have any recommendations on which to get?

Also, how tough is it to get this one off and replaced?

I can't provide how to's but I did have mine replaced (self inflicted garage door wound) by my main wrench and he charged me a flat 1/2 hour labor charge. If you've got a friendly neighborhood BMW/MINI guy, check him out.
