I was in Tuesday morning this morning, and I bought a 2 lane MINI Cooper S race set. It was manufactured by Carerra. It is a scale smaler than a slot car and it includes a goofy loop de loop, but still it is cool. One car is Indy blue with a UJ and the other Red with a black and white checker roof. It was $39.99. What can I say, it was screaming at me to take it home!

I'm going to try and be good, and put it under the tree until X-mas tho....

 

Where did you buy it? Brand name? Maybe Toys-r-us?

I bought two from Toys R us that transform from an MCS to a racetrack with 2 very small MINI's? Got one for my nephew and my hubby for Christmas..... I paid $19.99 so maybe it's a different one?

Like I said I bought mine at Tuesday Morning. It is a electric race track set with 2 cars. It is a scale (size) smaller than a slot car. The two cars are about 3 inches long and over an inch wide. The details on the car are not too bad. I believe the manufacturer is Carera. As a kid I had an Aurora set, as an adult a buddy and I built a huge 4 lane slot track in the room over the garage. Unfortunately, when summer came we quit playing with it a couple of years ago, and it is collecting dust. Racing with really good cars on a good track with buddies drinking beer (ok wine in my case) beats the heck out of Texas Hold'em which seems to be the thing these days! This set is nothing like my track in the room over the garage, but it was still screaming at me to take it home! My wife just shook her head.
