Extended warranty - R60

Hi all,
New to forum here. I have a 2015 mini cooper S countryman ALL4 (39,500miles) and the factory warranty is about to expire.
MINI dealer in my town offered me 4year/45,000 mile MINI platinum extended warranty with $200 deductible at $2,100.00, and was wondering if the price seems right and it is better to have warranty or not. I appreciate your inputs! Thanks everyone.

I don't normally buy warranties, but our Countryman has been expensive to keep going. I'd consider it.

Warranty

Hi,
Just wondering if you'd mind telling me which dealership that is? I've heard some will do a warranty over the phone and my local dealerships are quoting a lot more (high cost of living city).
Thanks!

Hi,
It came out to be a third party warranty which is owned by a large dealer company called lithia group, but I still gave it a shot, since you never know what's going to happen . Good luck!

It’s not a bad idea, when the mileage goest up, some things start to go.... I’m looking at a new water pump right now

I have my extended warranty through lithia and I couldn't be happier.
