Installation of real time ODB2 scanner

Hello. I am not sure if this should be posted under nav and audio so I apologize if not.

Does anyone have any experience with the Ultragauge?

If so, would you recommend it?
Where do you have it mounted? I recently installed a double dinn into my 2014 R55, so, where my radio used to be is now blanked out with black plastic supplied by Crutchfield. I was think of modding my dash to allow me to install the ultragauge where my radio used to be and running the wire to connect to the ODB2 port through where my speedometer is (where radio used to be) to the ODB2 port. Has anyone else done this? Do you have pictures of what it would look like?

I appreciate all your help! Thank you.
Mike
