Low Engine Power at High Revs after Fuel Pump Replacement

I just replaced the fuel pump in my 2011 S with a rebuilt part I bought about 3 weeks ago. At first the car drove great and had no issues, however after putting a little over 200 miles on the new part I had a one off time where I tried to accelerate while changing lanes on the freeway and stopped getting any more power after about 3k rpm. This has started to happen more frequently since then ( ~50 mi later for the next time and similar over the next few days), until today while driving to work where it was pretty much constant. The car accelerates normally under about 3k but even if i mash on the gas it will go to red line and not give the car any more power at all (if anything it seems like i have less power doing that). There's no check engine light on at the moment.

So is my issue more than likely just the *new* fuel pump i installed or could this be related to something else? Willing to answer any questions regarding further info if that helps. Thanks
