I bought a cheap timer delay switch to control my sub woofer amp so that I get it to turn on after everything else turns on to eliminate the thumping sounds. It's a $3.25 investment (LOL) that I don't want to cause a bigger loss by incorrectly wiring it. So if someone has some solid knowledge on what wire goes where I'd appreciate the tips.
The green wire pictured - Control Switch, can't figure if that is supposed to be the control wire from the car audio coming in, or is that the wire going into my remote in on the sub amp? Depending on that answer I think it clears up the other side of the board where I assume I use the Normally open circuit to trigger the amp.
I would guess that the green "control switch" wire is the power coming from your audio source (your radio or head unit). The blue-ish "load" "no" (Normally Open) wire is the power going to your sub amp. The blue-ish "com" wire is the raw power, and could be the same as the red +12v.
Never did get this switch to work. Eventually I decided to just wire a toggle switch to the remote amp wire and be done with it. Now I can shut the sub amp off as needed.
