Toys For The Troop's Kids!
There will be toy collecting for the kids of military personnel on asignment in Iraq and Afganistan, starting next Saturday the 11th, at the parking lot behind the Krispie Kreme, Sunrise and Greenback, in Citrus Heights.
Alice and I have volunteered to help out at the collection center on Sunday the 12, Sunday the 19th and Monday the 20th, from 9 AM til Noon.
If any MINI folks want to come by and leave off toys for this worthy cause, please do so!
It would be too cool to see a bunch of MINI's in line to drop off toys!
Hint: Walmart sells really cool MINI models and Hot Wheel-type cars for cheap!
The toys collected will be distributed through Travis AFB to the children of our men and women serving in war zones.
So, if you all want to set up some time to come on down together as a group, it would be awesome. I'll even take pictures! :smile:
