Near classic 2002 Mini Cooper S with a 6-speed manual transmission in excellent condition with just over 35,500 miles. Grey exterior with black roof and no sunroof. Grey leather interior. This is the first year for the new Mini Cooper and features the S package with the 163 hp supercharged 4-cylinder engine and a sport suspension. Both exterior and interior are in great condition with no rips/tears to the seat upholstery, no cracks in the dash and no squeaks/rattles. Xenon headlights. The original vinyl seats have been replaced with leather sport seats (front and back) from a 2005 John Cooper Works (JCW) Mini Cooper S and are extremely comfortable and in great condition.

Completely reliable, all maintenance is up to date and this Mini has been maintained to an extremely high level. Recent work includes:

- New tires on the front, rears were replaced in January 2017 at 27k miles. All four are OEM Continental contiprocontact tires

- New brake pads, disks, and brake fluid change

- Power steering pump recall completed

- New driver side window regulator

- New A/C compressor… A/C blows cold

- Oil change at 30,000 miles with Castrol synthetic

The only issues…
- The replacement leather Mini JCW sport seats have incompatible wire harness connectors with the original connectors and are not connected to the air bag system which has lit the air bag light. Mini forum solution is to wire in compatible wiring harness connectors which I have not done… all other air bags are active.
- There are two small parking lot dings and some small scratches/dings on the roof panel.

This completely original (except for the upgraded leather seats) first year new Mini gets great gas mileage and is a blast to drive. It needs nothing to be a very reliable weekend or daily driver!

Asking $5,500 obo, which is an outstanding value considering all wear items and/or potentially expensive maintenance items such as tires, brakes and air conditioning have been replaced or repaired.
