Upgrade JCW Tuning Kit

I have the JCW Engine Tuning Kit installed on my 2013 Mini Cooper S. I had the work done about 2 years ago by the Mini Dealer and I'm very happy with
the resultant increase in power, exhaust note, etc. I'm interested in upgrading the power again and I'm wondering what the options are without undoing the
nice work that the initial upgrade provided. The car runs extremely well (and no CELs) and I've also added the JCW Strut Tower Brace, Koni Yellow Sport Adjustable shocks
/struts, Mini engine temperature and lateral acceleration gauges, Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires and just last week had the front brakes upgraded with
TEXTAR Rotors and AKEBONO Ceramic Brake Pads which are a huge improvement over the stock components.
I'm considering options such as changing the engine air filter that is part of the JCW Tuning Kit. The Mini dealer advised me that it was similar to a K & N filter
and a K&N would not be an upgrade. I don't know if the dealer was feeding me Mini dealer propaganda or not regarding this. I would also consider other power boosting
scenarios and am budgeting myself no more than $2K for any project.

I'm interested in what alternatives other owners have considered or have actually installed building on the original JCW Tuning Kit..................and would appreciate any thoughts!!

You could do a downpipe, catless will have a nice bump in power or go catted if you don't want the smell and or have emissions. You will most likely get a CEL from a catless downpipe, idk about the catted one. An intercooler would also be a great one to do as well. Keep the IAT's down when you're doing some hard driving, also gain a little power from it.

I wouldn't bother with the intake as you won't see real gains with it.
An intercooler would for sure be the next mod I recommend.

And then a stage 1 tune will be the next big bang for the buck, and work well with the intercooler

Also another good bang for the buck is the powerflex lower engine bushing. Will also improve shifting, and reduce engine rock to help get the power down.

Yes it will. It's basically a stock bolt-on. You'll just need to check your intake suction tube's fitting to the turbo compressor suction end to make sure they mate.
