Correct - I am hoping someone has the OEM part on a scrapper, or decided they didn't like the JCW part and swapped back - the cover isn't something I am interested in, we tried this with mirror caps and they were horrible.

 

I agree about the aftermarket covers = crap quality.

Regarding your search for this part,
you're going about it right by putting out the word here.

That boot handle may be one of the harder-to-find JCW bits because they were expensive and I'd reckon not many folk splurged on one.

Stay vigilant and keep yer eyes peeled though because such stuff does pop up!
