R50/53 2004 MC40 decals
2004 MC40 decals
Hi, folks. Just a heads up for all the MC40 owners out there. I ordered new hood decals (33 EJB number plate & 40th Anniversary) thru Firestorm Graphix at a cost of $57 shipped to Dallas (they're located in Lowell, MA). They also do the magnetic door number 37 plates and the smaller 40th Anniversary decals for the rear quarter-panels. I've yet to price or order those, however. Decals look great BTW and the cost seems extremely reasonable to me. Service was fantastic and turnaround was just a few days.
I've yet to install the decals but the quality is very good. It's been cool and rainy here in the Dallas area so I'm waiting for some warmer/drier weather to put them on the car. That should happen later this week. I'll post some pics as soon as they're installed.

Update: Attached are pics of my new MC40 decals installed. I have to say that they look stellar and really set the car apart. Word of caution: the online decal package available thru Firestorm Graphix (FG) did not match the size of my original decals. To wit, I ensured that, when ordering, I provided the exact width of each decal so that those I received matched the originals. The decal quality is great, FG was easy to work with, the price was right and the installation was very simple. These decals are also available thru Way Motor Works but the typeface used on their new license plate decal does not match the typeface on the original decal.
