03 R53 Xenon flicker

My drivers side headlamp quit working. I switched with the passenger side and it worked. While switching the bulbs I noticed the faulty bulb had a broken tube. The end was missing. So I bought two new bulbs and installed. The drivers side now flickers and goes out, sucking voltage from around the car. Dome light and radio go out.
Any idea where I need to look now?

Figured my problem out! My battery was dead, not sure why yet. Maybe the 5 degree weather has something to do with it. Put the charger on it for a while, started the car and let it run a while and no more flicker. Drove it around town today, we'll see how the new bulbs look tonight on my way home from work.

Good, get it on a charger and you can always go to a local battery place and have it load tested, if it does not pass, you will need to get a new battery.

Also, to be healthy, your charging system/battery needs to be putting out 14-14.5 volts which is higher than most other cars.
