Oil in Cold Air Intake

What are the possible causes of oil getting on my cold air intake turbo sensor?

Too much oil on the air filter will clog it, or if it’s motor oil it could be the PCV in the valve cover, is there any oil residue around the cap at the left rear corner of the valve cover?

The oil is coming from the PCV system and if it is just residue, it is normal. Also the gadget on the turbocharger inlet is not a sensor, it is a heater to prevent icing at the turbocharger inlet.

I didn’t think about the heater thing, I assumed he meant the MAF

That’s not great, I would put a new valve cover on it, that will replace the PCV too since it’s built into the cover.
Does it look like it’s causing an oil or air leak?
