I was in the Cities all week, right by Southdale Mall and somehow managed to not see a single MINI on the road. I was kinda disappointed... until I was on my way home.

I managed to come upon a Black/Black MCS with checkered roof and black stripes with white edging. Windows were too dark to see the driver... one of the drawbacks of tint jobs. Was pretty cool. We had a little caravan going down 55 until they turned off in Hastings.

I figured I was just grasping at straws... oh well.

 

Watch for My BRAND NEW Mini as I drive it home from MiniWerks BMW this Weekend. My wife and I live 5 hrs away in NoDak. We are hopping an Amtrak because she didn't want to drive seperately....(isn't she sweet, the ol' ball and chain )

BTW let me say, been lurking here for two months while I await my new Mini. The info from everyone has been amazingly rich. Thank you all for giving me so much useful info. Although I tend to be a lurker in nature I may come out of the closet once or twice to offer opinion as I explore the frozen tundra of NoDak in my NEW MINI

 

and congrats on grabbing your new MINI! The drive home will be one of the greatest events to happen to you for a long time...until you start adding go-fast parts!

Keep an eye here for events going on in MN. We have a member who also is in ND and occassionally joins us for events. Maybe you guys can hook up once you get back home.
