What does FACELIFT refer to?

Looking for an intercooler for my 2010 Cooper S R57. Found what I thought I was looking for on EBay from a manufacturer named GPlus. The seller is a company in Middletown Ohio. In the description of the intercooler everything looked fine except for the facelift tittle. Will fit a 2010 cabrio copper s facelift and I didn’t know what they’re talking about. Wrote the seller in Middletown and she said that that model will only fir a clubman. Is this a case of the seller not knowing what she is talking about. She said the facelift is a specific model. Please, steer me on the right course.

Dont know much about that intercooler, look like they are made overseas. For fitment they big changes were in 2011, this is post LCI and then 2009-2010 was pre LCI. Post LCI -= Post facelift.

For Wagner Tuning MINI Cooper Intercoolers (one of the best selling and most trusted) You can see the splits here:

This is yours: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-wagner-t...a-convertible/ Pre facelift.

Their is big differences in the front bumper for Pre LCI and LCI as the LCI added the extra bar on the bumper support for crash standards and this makes it harder and tighter fit for intercoolers.

We never recommend ebay intercoolers as we have had many fitment issues with them and it's just not worth the hassle. Especially if it's an LCI car. Let alone the seller obviously doesn't know anything about MINIs since they said it only fit's clubman.

Check out the Forge as it's on sale right now and works great without fit issue.

A note from a passerby to the OP and any other curious visitors. This forum is fraught with sad stories about unhappy people buying stuff via ebay and other off market sources. There are vendors on NAM who's focus is entirely to MINI and Mini support as is evidenced by the 1st 2 responses on this thread. Why look any further than the vendors listed aboard this forum?

Men, thank you for help. I split my time between Ohio and South Florida and the R57 is kept solely in Florida. I’ll be looking at the Wagner and the Forge trying to form an opinion.
