2006 Mini Cooper S project is loaded up and headed east to Minneapolis. Will spend the night at my buddys "manshack" then the last eight blocks to the bodyshop in the morning.
I had a trusted bodyshop owner stop out to my home shop and take a good look at my Mini Cooper S project car. The Driver side carrier on the frame rail was bent and needed to be replaced. He gave me a quote I can live with including some rust touch ups on the hatch and the driver side rear tail light area. The car was just picked up by my friend of 35 years - who just bought a new trailer - and its headed into the shop for a quick pull, weld and touch up. I should get it back in a week or so.
