Lug bolts and aftermarket wheel nightmare

I have a set of Primax 772 Rims and 215/45 tires from my Focus SVT that I'd like to swap on for reasons beyond the scope of this post.

To my dismay, I attempted to mount these multipattern rims using the existing lug bolts and was not able to get a 17 inch socket inside of the wheel holes without destroying the carefully completed paintjob that I performed on these rims.

I'd like to know what my options are. It looks like installing studs are an option but that is pretty pricey and an additional option. I guess that there are tuner bolts available, but it's kind of hard to see what will fit and what will not without either spending hours measuring or buying a few sets and returning what doesn't work.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Lol ZOMG. 17 inch socket...I won't even correct the original post it's so funny. Yes 17mm socket. 17 inch rims must have been on my mind.

Install a set of studs

And use our tuner nuts as they use a thin key socket that is smaller

Aside from your socket problem, are you sure that the bolt pattern matches? R53 has 4x100 bolt pattern. Online, I see 4x108 for Ford Focus 2000-2011.

Thanks, these are multipattern rims so they worked fine.

These worked great for the money.
