I can't believe everyone is running around with stock slat grills!? Besides the X-pensive AERO grill, what can I fit?

Looking for black mesh or even chrome.

 

i painted the grille & the interkooler scoop black on my DS/B

 

Check the sponsors. I got a Moss Mini catalog, and they have plenty of stuff there. I am sure others do, too.

Dan from Pilo Racing posted in the vendor section last week about wire mesh grilles now available.

 

Any options besides the Aero that don't just tie wrap to the top of the existing pieces? I might be kinda **** but I hate looking through a nice piece of mesh just to see my stock grill.

 

I'm waiting on the M7 grille myself. It's very similar to the aerokit grille, except it doesn't have a border like the aerokit, looks real slick......come on M7, I'm waiting with cash in hand :smile:

 

So am I - let's hope they come through soon.

M7 have the lower mesh grille in silver and black up on the site, or is everyone talking about the upper section?

 

I've got the IC and upper radiator grills. Not sure where I got them because it was back in '02. I had the lower radiator grill on and it looked sweet but really impeded airflow. I've got an M7 grill on order (well I've got it but it's a Christmas present ). They also mentioned that they have the rear grills done as well. I personally like the MCS body colored slats. A little hint of aluminum grill behind them makes a great site.

 

I concerned with the top grille. The AERO grille has the matching pattern to the other screens, but this should be easily reporduced in the aftermarket for much less than the factory part.

 

It would be nice to have the upper grille in the same mesh that PILO is offering for the lower, would look nice

 

i maybe in the minority but i defenitely prefer with a boarder around it... so i can paint it white and then get the black wire mesh to match my m7 lower grille...

but then.. i love the 3 slate grill i got now
