I have a European spec 2003 MINI Cooper S, and when I plug in my OBD2 scan tool, it doesn't power on. I also tried my friend's scan tool, and it also won't turn on. I read something about MINI not fully adapting to OBD2 until later, and it may have EDIABAS. I've check all of the fuses and they are all good. My tachometer, and temperature gauge are broken, so it would b really nice to be able to get some data from an OBD2 tool. Thank you.
