Are these wear marks normal?

In need of some feedback as to if these marks are normal. 2015 cooper s Convertible pirchased 6 mos ago as a CPO. Since I’ve had it, I wash by hand with Raggtopp cleaner and protectant. Couldn’t find any forum posts about the roofs for the more recent body style cabrios. Thanks in advance!

What wear marks? :D Your top looks pretty new and in great condition.
Mine is a 2012 model and even though it has plenty of more severe wear marks and an attempted slash mark, it's still holding up.

Completely normal. If there were none I would get all snarky about you never running the head down at all and wonder why you purchased a drop-head in the first place. That is caused by the fabric polishing the opposite fold. This question has come up before and someone suggested using a soft brush to 'raise' the mat of the fabric. Mine has shiny spots all over the back 'cause I hardly ever run the top up. I've posted my 4 reasons for top up operation elsewhere so here they are again.
1. It is raining
2. It is snowing
3. My co-pilot is whining loudly about being too hot or too cold and I can't hear the supercharger.
4. Some drunks are throwing empty beer cans in the back seat and didn't invite me.

Normal, I treated my top once to twice a year and it helped reduce those but you will still get tiny compression marks. I used a horsehair brush after treatment and then some people place towels when opening the top
