Hendrick MINI is officially opening on Thursday November 19th.

We have been invited to stop by as a club on Saturday November 20th after the detail clinic. The location of the detail clinic, Import Paint and Body is less than a mile down Independence Blvd from Hendrick MINI.

We are going to try and have all the MINIs detailed by 2:30 and then as a group drive to Hendrick MINI. Even if you are not participating in the detail clinic please stop by Import Paint and Body ,6173 East Independence Blvd.Charlotte, NC
around 2:00-2:30pm and join us, so that we may arrive together.

Hendrick MINI will be offering something special on Saturday for M2C2 members.

I paid a visit to the new facility over the weekend and was very impressed by its size. The showroom will be able to hold 5 MINIs and it even had 2 plasma TVs.

Please post here if you are planning to attend, so that we may give Hendrick a head count.

 

Hey George.....that's FRIDAY the 19th. ...and like I mentioned in another thread, I may be there but can't say for sure at this time.

 

I'll be there. Doing the detail clinic and then heading to Hendrick with everyone.

I'll be sure to bring the camera.

 

Side question....is the service dept. going to be open. I need to schedule the recall service work to be done and since I have a local Mini dealer now, much rather see about getting it done there rather then drive 1.5 hours one way.

 

Will join the group for the Hendrick visit.

I am thinking about coming. After two FULL weekends of MINI events already, I am torn with staying home for a week or enjoying some more MINI comradery.

How long can we expect to stay at dealership?
Any dinner plans afterwords?

I might be able to make it to the Hendrick event by around 3. I hope I can. Love to see some of y'all again. It looks like I will NOT be able to make the December meeting sooo, this might be a good substitute. George, go ahead and count me in and if I can't be there, I'll let you know by Friday. By the way, exactly where on Independence is the dealership????

I would also be interested in doing something for dinner if anyone else is up for it.

I am sure that the MINI parts department will be open. I am being told that the something special that Hendrick MINI will be doing for M2C2 involves the parts department.
Dinner afterward sounds great. I did not plan anything yet, but we will find some place to go and eat after the visit to Hendrick MINI and everyone is welcome.

 

I called them today and they are not taking any appointments until 7:30am on Friday the 19th. I'll be calling them as well for an appointment. Want some things checked over after my body shop work (at Import P&B by the way :smile: ).

I will try to be up there on the 20th as well for the event. Probably will join the club then as well. Who would I need to speak with/give money to?

Hello all, I have just gotten my Mini, about 2-3 weeks ago (2005 MCS, pure silver with black roof/stripes). I'd love to join the event (not the clinic, but the dealership visit) on Saturday and was going to join the M2C2 Charlotte chapter, can I do that on Saturday so I can get the 'goodie' from Hendrick?

Was wondering the same thing Scot, cause I am in the same situation. But I wasn't going to impose or push my luck.

 

By the way, I dropped off T.D. at Hendrick this morning to have some rattles, squeaks and underbody checked out (from my exhaust pipe incident) and they were very nice and helpful. They replaced my driver's side window regulator to fix that squeak, have a passenger door speaker on order, and nothign but a few scraps under the car. Even said they couldn't tell the car had been to a body shop, so props to Import P&B for their good work.

 

I hope it's chocolate cupcakes and vanilla ice cream.

 

Mininc I still haven't renewed my membership. Can I renew Saturday?
