WTK:Charge Pipe

Hey tuners I want to buy the upgraded Intercooler Charge Pipes for my 2011 R60. I bought an upgraded intercooler that i haven't installed yet.Can anyone who's already installed the upgraded charge pipes tell me if you notice any difference after changing the stock pipe with the "muffler". Does it improve performance or sound any better?

If you are talking about the charge pipe on the hot side of the fmic, then yes, you do get a definite increase in turbo sounds, and it may be just me, but I noticed just a touch more low end power, but not a huge increase.
The cold side pipe, unless you have the noisemaker, you can delete that, but otherwise I don’t think it will make much difference unless you are running high HP and Boost levels. Mine is just fine at 22psi.

getting rid of the resonator in the charge pipe does help. But you don't have to buy a $100+ pipe to do it.

check out our WMW pipe as it does the same thing, but uses your stock hoses with it so it's a perfect fit, but doesn't break the bank

You can also replace the resonator with this aluminum piece that's like an intercooler for your intercooler:

p.s. Here's my thread from when I swapped out my intercooler. It has some pictures that you may find useful.
