mini 2012

Hello

I bought a used mini cooper 2012 I believe is an R56, its the regular cooper, the ac is not blowing cold air, I've checked the fuse, change the inside cabin air filter and putting on some refrigerant, but it won't blow cold air, I've noticed there is like grease and humidity on one on the hose from the bottom, this could be a leak or its something more complicated like compressor?

Just adding refrigerant can do more harm than good if low refrigerant is not the issue. That said, it could be a few things. Does the compressor engage when your turn the AC on? Does the compressor fan turn on? That build up on the hose sounds like a leak.

How did you fill the refrigerant?

The compressor oil is more like light yellow/green.
