I am a new Mini Cooper owner and am very excited to be a part of the family. My Mini is an awesome looking blue 2008 R56 Cooper S with red and white stripes. Sadly, I will not be able to take my car with me to school and I have to leave it dormant back home outside of Philadelphia. To maintain the car as well as possible and to keep her looking new, I was wondering if you guys could tell me of some car covers you recommend, based on your experience. Living in Pennsylvania, the car would sadly remain outside and face heat and humidity in the summer and a good deal of snow in the winter.
Thank you all very much for your suggestions!
On a side note: I recently got the timing chain replaced and still feel like I hear a rattle from the engine. Is that any cause for concern?
Thanks for the help guys and I'm happy to be a part of the family.
Thanks! I will look on their site. More so, in everyone's opinion, would you agree that it would be smart to buy a cover for the car since it will remain dormant for a few months, or would it be better to leave it uncovered? I have never actually used a car cover for any of my other cars.
