Looking for All Season Tires for our 2014

We are in the process of purchasing a 2014 Paceman All4 John Cooper Works and want to get some All season tires / run flats. Tire size 225/45 R18
We live in Utah so snow handling is important, Are there really any good options / compromise, without having to get special winter tires i.e Blizzaks?

I'm about to go into my 3rd winter on this set of Bridgestone Drivegaurds. I think they've worn well and been decent in the snow. By no means are hey a snow tire but I think they're a very good RF all-season tire.
