I put the top down on my r52 to change the fuel pump. Disconnected the battery of course but that’s it as far as electrical. I went to put the top up afterwards and now it won’t move. When I push the up button I hear a sound like it’s about to start, kind of a split second servo noise but nothing moves. I hear that sound each time I push the button but same result no movement. What could have happened between putting it down and trying to put it up? Everything mechanical was working fine before. Anyone please!?

Never mind! It’s working! I had to reset the front windows by rolling them up a little then engaging the top! Thanks anyway fellas and gals!

actually I needed to reset the front windows. Evidently when you disconnect the battery with the top down the top will not go back up until you reset the front windows. This entails rolling them up partially then activating the top up button. Evidently the system does not know the windows are down already and it wants to roll them down before lett My the top go up. Scared the c——— out of me for a while though!
