Alignment Question

2015 Mini Cooper Countryman Base. Have had car for two months, less than 30,000 miles on it. Just noticed real wheels are not aligned with front wheels. Dealership is telling me this is normal on a 1st Gen Countryman. Has anyone heard of this?

Same. Minis have a lot of camber out back compared to front. Our '13 R60 looks probably how yours does. Tire wear seems completely fine to my surprise.

Shortly after I got mine I noticed it too. Then I also noticed it on other Mini’s i saw on the road. First I thought maybe it was an illusion with the rear bumper. Then I learned as stated above that it is in fact the rear camber and that is normal.

If you mean negative camber (google it), then yes, this is normal.

Hello Folks... I'm New to this group but have lots of experience with car problems (By Fire) !!! I own a 2015 Countryman and am a member of the Mini's & Coffee Motor Club of North Georgia. I had the same problem with by Mini but I have Fixed my problem Permanently !!! I Replaced my Factory OEM Control Arms with Adjustable Control Arms to correct the Camber Problems associated with my WORN (NON-Adjustable) OEM Control Arms that CAN NOT be Re-adjusted after they have worn out. Factory Specs for 2015 & 2016 Countryman Camber Angles is between +1.4 to +2.0 Degrees. Tire alignments Outside of those Limits will cause extreme wear to your tires and suspension systems QUICKLY. Adjustable Control Arms allow you to correct your Camber Angles to Optimum Tire Tread Contact on the road even if your Suspension System starts to wear out. Cost me $331.00 parts & labor but well worth it considering the cost of New Tires (Especially Run-flats) and Constant Wheel Alignments as the Tires wear out and the OEM Control Arms get more worn out to the point that the Camber Angle can NO Longer be Adjusted to bring the Wheel Camber back into Factory Specs. Try It... You'll Like It !!!

Later Folks...
