Wish I had seen this earlier. I just bought a set of these from tirerack for $1600. They arrived last week and are going on my r61. Have not even put them on yet. This leads me to my next question. Since I know nothing about KW-V2s, do you think I will like them, are they harsh, is the change really that noticeable? Also, does the kit come with everything I will need for the install? Someone mentioned I will need camper plates, however the tech at KW told me I don't need anything else & that everything is in the box. Lastly what is the name of the air suspension your friend put on his car.

You won’t need to buy anything, just resuse the tops of the old suspension set up. You will most likely need to cut the bump stops in half. The V2’s are adjustable for rebound and compression so you will need to play with the settings for your liking.

Are the adjustments easy to get to on an r61? Only reason I bought these is because the Bilistein B6s are unavailable anywhere right now, and my stock suspension is completely shot.

Not thoroughly conversant in Mini talk, so need to ask a dumb question: What generation are these for? I need to determine if they will fit on a R56 JCW. Not expecting you to answer for me, but if I know the starting point I can ask the manufacturer. Thanks.
