Any interest in some type of get together in Virginia, either down around Marion to hit the Back of the Dragon (BOTD) and the Snake or something farther north up around Little Washington?

I have done both the BOTD and the Snake and from Google Earth views there are a ton of other roads with some nice twisties up that way. For farther north, took a wrong turn while bringing a Corvette down from New York a couple years back. Got going up in the mountains toward Luray Cavern before I turned around. It was like driving an Ocean Liner on a lake with the vet but with a MINI, I am already drooling.

Whine, this is a good opportunity for me to say thanks. A few months back you posted about back of the dragon, etc. Last month wifey and I detoured off I-77 and drove back of the dragon and several others in that area on our way back south from Pa. after having coilovers and NM rear sway bar installed and sitting 1.25" lower. Would have never known about them w/o your post. Thanks again. Who knew taking turns at 40 mph could be so much fun. :-) If we'd of just had more time, but alas it was not to be.

As we were winding thru the hinterlands of NC heading back out to I-77 we ran into 6-8 late model corvettes. They looked out of place on those narrow back roads. But hey, they like to have fun too.

If I just lived closer.......

Glad you liked the roads, the problem is there are just so many of them.

Well some of us will just have to carry this heavy burden for you flatlanders.
