Looks like the form is working on a guide to the Gen 2, so in the meantime looking for some guidance.

I'd love to know what common issues I might be facing, if there are any parts I should throw at the car right away (like strut tower defenders on the Gen 1 to prevent mushrooming), and anything else an independent inspection might miss. Also indicates the water pump and fuel pump were recently changed.

Seller is asking $13,999.00 for the car with 67k on the clock. Nada seems to suggest this is a great price.

Suggest you check out the Gen2 FAQ section as it should have allot of information you will find useful. Also suggest you check out the thread below that is in our Gen1 FAQ. It deals with buying a used Gen1 but there is allot of information that pertains to any car you are looking at. I asked Nick at Detroit Tuned to write up something on a PPI and he provided some very good feedback.
