R60 All4 Brake Upgrade Time

So is this my best bet/value for a brake upgrade for my R60 All4? I want to keep it under $1000..

https://new.minimania.com/part/G2NMK...ke-Upgrade-Kit

I priced out some EBC rotors and carbotech pads separately but they came out to much more than the above kit and did not come with the sensors (are those really needed)?

Thanks,
Victor

I would hardly consider this kit as an upgrade at all. Especially considering its price.
I assume your R60 is not track car. If so then maximum what you really might need is higher temperature front brake pads than OE pads, if you feel that OE pads fade. The difference in performance between those brake discs and stock brake discs will be within the measurement accuracy. All that cool description is more a specimen of good marketing than real step up off the OE. Any generic aftermarket brake discs (e.g. Brembo, etc.) do the job as OE discs do. So you do not really need any exotic brake discs.

Thanks for the response and yes, it surely isn't a track car, although I do have canyons where I live and tend to drive hard on those every weekend.

My car prior to this had Brembo GTs and I'm looking for the modulation that my current set up is lacking. That and a more immediate bite and less fade.

Right now, I feel it is taking too long to stop (doesn't brake as aggressively as I want) and this is really preventing me from pushing the car as hard as I want to.
