I'm thinking that if you need the Media Bridge, the car probably didn't have a microphone - mine didn't.

Hello! I know it does not have a microphone, but it is prewired for it.
The reason why I ask the question is that I would reuse the wires already in the car and buy the Mini/BMW microphone. I'm afraid to route the microphone that comes with the Media Bridge because the Bentley service manual says the A pillar plastic covers are a one time use, also I have the moon roof, so if I just fish the microphone I don't want to disturb the water hose of the moonroof and end up with a leak.

Alternatively if anybody have suggestions on how to get the media bridge microphone to the original microphone location so it is not visible, I will take them!

Ah; that's clearer! Mounting any aftermarket microphone overhead in any car is a real pain because, as you say, you have to get from one side of the A-pillar to the other. I zip-tied the microphone for my media bridge to the frame of the big cupholder, just underneath the top plate. I'ts pretty much invisible, the wire can disappear into the dash right behind it and it works fine. Sorry, I'm no help on using factory wiring - I guess it's a matter of figuring out where to access the other end of the wires.
