Pandora App and Software Update

Have a new 2018 Convertible. When you go to external devices it shows Spotify, Amazon music, Napster and maybe one more app but no pandora. But when I choose pandora on my phone it gives me two arrows and the mini logo but nothing ever shows up on the car’s display.

How do I add the Pandora App?

Also - there is an option in settings to update software, do I need to go to the dealer for that and how do I tell if I have the latest version. The mini update site shows an update from 2015?

Thanks in advance for the help.

I can play pandora via Bluetooth but would like to play via the usb cable. Thanks so much!

So you're connected via USB. You go the Connected folder on the instrument panel and you don't see the Pandora option but you see the others? When I have had that happen, I unplug and replug the cable in and get the flash screen you described and THEN the Pandora app is under the Connected folder for me to click on.

You're able to play via BT so why not stick with that? Just curious as I am having issues with my BT audio always requiring me to get in the car and restart the app on my phone and then if I want album art and the ability to skip tracks with my joy stick, I have to first connect the radio and then get out of that and back into the devices folder in order for the album art/skip track features to be available.

Cheers.
