WANTED-KONI Yellow parts

Category: Suspension
Price: $1
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): R53, R56
Location (Region): Midwestern
Item Condition: Used

Folks,

I lost the steel bushings for the rear shocks on my KONI Sports (Yellows). These are the ones about an inch long. If you happen to have a couple PLEASE me know. I have a set ordered from KONI but they're talking 4 weeks out. If you have a set you're not installing for a while, talk to me and I'll trade you the new ones when they come in. I just was hoping to get these installed sooner than that. Thanks

I would call a distributor like ECS or Way Motor Works and see if they can help you out.

Yah! Right! If he didn't buy from either, but you just never know as demonstration of goodwill goes a long way if visible. Most vendors don't want to break into a new package and turn it into an opened box. Also ECS is so big the nice guy here is likely just working from home and has nothing to do with the fulfillment centers. If it were me, I till just take it in strive for a lesson learnt. But then I don't pay Amazon $120 so I can get today's order yesterday.

OK, These came off of my previous MINI and I lost them. I've contact several vendors, especially the ones that do installations and such looking for either new or used. I do have them on order but was hoping to have them installed sooner than the waiting time from over seas.

Are you talking about the sleeves that go over the top of the shock in the upper mount? IIRC, the lower mount is attached to the rubber bushing.

If so, the sleeve is probably the same as the stock piece. I may have a set at home, but I'm not sure.

Not the same, as I thought the same thing. These have a gigger ID. I could have tried drilling out the oem's but would have been stuck and not been able to put it back together had I ruined one (They don't call me Schleprock for no good reason!!!!!). If you have a set of OEM's I'd try it. Let me know
Thanks
